Supporting members of the CBSO Youth Orchestra

The James Langley Memorial Trust (JLMT) was established through the generosity of James Langley's friends, colleagues and family.

The Trust receives no public funding and relies entirely on private donations and interest from its endowment. Your donation will benefit future generations of young musicians by increasing the endowment from which the Trust funds its annual award(s).

If you are a UK tax payer, your gift can go further if you complete a Gift Aid declaration as this enables the Trust to reclaim tax on your donation.

Please help to make such annual awards possible for many years to come by contributing to the James Langley Memorial Trust fund as detailed below.

Online Donations

You can make your donation online, simply and conveniently, using your debit/credit card, Paypal, ApplePay or GooglePay account, by clicking on the button below:
Donate with JustGiving.
Gift Aid declarations can also be made as part of the online donation process.

Our JustGiving facility also allows you to set up a regular donation if you wish - a small sum each month accumulates over time and represents a real investment in the future of the JLMT.

Alternatively, donations can be made by cheque, payable to ‘The James Langley Memorial Trust’, and posted to
Phil Garner (Hon. Treasurer), The James Langley Memorial Trust, 41 Rockford Close, Oakenshaw South, Redditch, Worcestershire B98 7SZ.

Thank you for your support.

Legacy Giving

Would you consider leaving a donation to the JLMT in your Will? Your kind gift would ensure that members of the CBSO Youth Orchestra will be able to access the training, resources and opportunities they need, in order to realise their ambitions. What better way to celebrate your love of music than to support these talented young musicians?

Your legacy will be invested in perpetuity and every penny of the earnings after investment costs will be used to benefit the Trust's award recipients.

Including the JLMT in your Will is not at the exclusion of other recipients, spouses, children and other interests; rather, it is additional. The donation that you leave in your Will could be:
a) A Residuary bequest (i.e. what's left after other gifts have been given out)
b) A percentage of the residue of your Estate
c) A Pecuniary bequest (i.e. a fixed amount)

You are advised to discuss your individual situation with your solicitor or other estate planning professional, including the added advantage of a potential reduction in your Inheritance Tax liability.

If you would like to discuss this further with the JLMT, and/or notify of us of your intentions (N.B. entirely optional), please contact our Hon. Secretary, Mrs. Caroline Jephcott, via email
honsec@jlmt.org.uk who can then put you in touch with our Hon. Treasurer.

Thank you for your consideration.
